Forms on a Frozen River

It is the end of January and the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton is frozen over and covered with 15 centimeters of fresh snow. I venture to the river’s edge and am captivated by the abstract forms that I see:

  1. I love these winter works. I spent a long time travelling the Arctic taking similar pics which lead me into my current interest in rocks. If you get a chance head to Baffin Island in June during the melt it will be worth the trip.
